How the standings work
State, Combined, National
A state needs at least 100 members for its own Open awards, and 50 in the other divisions. States under those numbers compete together in the Combined category instead. Awards go to the top three point earners per state, per division. Every member also appears in the National standings regardless of where they live.
The year-end rule
For the end-of-season standings, a member keeps points only from the division in which they stand highest. Points from their other divisions are dropped, which moves everyone below them up a place.
Getting matched correctly
The system reads your PEWC member number first and only screens for first and last name if no number was given. Enter under a nickname or a shortened name and your points can end up on nobody's card.
