Compete with
the Elite

Four divisions, one season, and points earned at every PEWC-sanctioned event across the Midwest. Members race for $33,000 in year-end awards and $26,000 in side pots — then settle it in October at the biggest Finals in Minnesota history.

Membership year runs January 1 – December 31 · Peewee · Youth · Open · Senior

Four divisions, one card

One membership enters you in your division at every sanctioned event of the year. Producers set their own class formats, but the sanctioned package is the same everywhere: first and second Open, one Peewee, one Youth, one Senior.

Read the rules
Open Both the first and second Open classes are covered by a single sanctioning. 4D · ½ second split
Youth One youth class per sanctioned day. 3D · full second
Pee Wee One pee wee class per sanctioned day. 3D · three seconds
Senior One senior class per sanctioned day. 2D · full second

Formats above are PEWC's suggested layout. Individual producers may run a different split — check the event.

The biggest Finals in Minnesota history

Three days, every division, and the year's standings decided. Members walk in with $20,000 of free side pot money waiting for them and nothing extra to pay to enter it. Entries run through FastEnter; a $100 rider sponsorship buys early runs all three days and covers as many horses as you bring.

How a season is scored

Three steps, and the middle one is the reason your member number matters more than most riders realise.

STEP 01

You run at a sanctioned event

Any PEWC-sanctioned event, in any of the states we cover. Your placing in your division and D is what carries points.

STEP 02

The producer reports within seven days

Results come in from the producer in Excel. Members have a seven-day grace period after an event to get their membership current and still collect the points.

STEP 03

Points post against your number

Matching runs on your PEWC member number first, and only falls back to your first and last name. Enter under a nickname and the points can miss you.

Standings

Each state that clears the member threshold stands on its own. States under it race together in Combined. Everybody, everywhere, also appears in the National standings.

Run an event? Sanction it.

Sanctioning puts your event on the PEWC calendar, in front of thousands of members, and makes every run at it count toward the season standings. In return you report your results in Excel within seven days — that is the whole deal.
